It’s my all time favorite show. Just not this Frasier. I don’t like this show one bit. However, I’ll give it 2 1/2 stars for at least bringing back Frasier, even though he doesn’t have the same wit or fire that the original Frasier had, but I blame that on the horrible writers of this new show.

I never watched “How I Met Your Mother” and after watching the new Frasier, I am VERY glad that I didn’t. Whoever the writers are should be banned from ever writing for another show permanently.

I find myself not laughing or smiling at all during the saccharine dialogue. David is supposed to be this cute, innocent young man, but I find him absolutely bland and a terrible actor. Freddie, he is kind of growing on me, but not my favorite. The old friend of Frasier has his moments but for the most part we could do without him. The head, or dean of Harvard (of course she would be black), I find her decent, but some of the things she says and does cause me to roll my eyes. Like I said, bad dialogue. I like Freddie’s friend, forget her name, but she is cute and witty at times.

Frasier, of course I love him, but he is not the same Frasier I have come to know and love. And always wearing sneakers instead of his dress shoes really kills it for me. And whoever came up with his dialogue needs to be ousted from Hollywood. All they are doing is taking from the original series and gleaning what they can from it and recycling it in a not so funny way. They simply try too hard to bring back the wit and charm of the original Frasier and fail miserably. Hopefully, if there is a next season, they will fire the writers and hire ones who actually KNOW and actually watched Frasier.

Indeed getting better with each show. Episodes 6 and 7 especially reminded me of the old series. In fact, I had to replay some of the jokes as the wordplay was so well done.

The current effort is better than the last gasp of the original Frasier but occasionally flirts with the weaknesses of the former. Frasier’s black female ‘boss’ doesn’t seem to possess a real character but certainly was created to throw a bone to the Left, rather than serving a real purpose. Your observations on Freddie are spot-on. Surely, this person has little or no relation to the original character. Niles’ son worries me. I can’t see this paper-thin persona going the distance.

I don’t believe Frasier’s son reminds me of the younger version.

I do like the other Harvard professor or the boss.

I’m not a review or write. I’m just leaving my opinion.
