At the end of the movie, in the scene where Ant man was talking about how great his life is, you can see in the window display in the background there is a pride collection mannequin. That needs addressed in this Worth it or Woke review.

Sadly numbing in the state of drowning in tasteless action movies, Quantumania doesn’t even survive the test of simply being a good film. Its woke elements in the beginning of the film are extremely out-putting and extremely out of place in a Marvel film. As James has written, its most likeable character, the one from the title and the hero that this trilogy was built on; Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang; is used (in the first half of the film, at least) as a prop to show how badly a multibillion dollar company can waste money on a bad writer. Thank you, Jeff Loveness, for writing a film that is always consistent in its inconsistencies.

Ok, I didn’t realize this was the author. Yes, I was confused, I thought that in the movie she said those were her actual pronouns. I apologize for misunderstanding. I’m on a roll trying to do heavy research because I don’t want to see things in a movie unexpectedly with my child.

I had to scratch my head on this one for a bit, but I believe that I see where the confusion lies. When I said that Cassie uses “she/her pronouns,” I was using sarcasm to make the point that because Cassie is female she gets her wrong-headed ideas supported, whereas her father gets undermined. I wasn’t making the claim that she literally says “she/her.”

At least I can use this site to read if movies actually have a gay agenda or if they just call anything woke that has women who are bosses or consider 17 year olds “children” when in the real world us parents are super lucky if they make it past 14 without having an attitude acting as if they were adults. I saw this movie by myself and don’t remember anything about pronouns so I re-watched the first 12 minutes like it said here and didn’t see it… so I always do my own research instead of blindly believing others opinions. I looked up the movie script on https://scrapsfromtheloft.com/movies/ant-man-and-the-wasp-quantumania-transcript/ and there is no mention of the word “pronouns” and I saw all 38 “she” words and none of them referred the using of pronouns. So I’m confused if it’s considered using pronouns if you do the obvious which would be referring to a girl as she..obviously. Other than this it’s good to read if there’s an actual agenda before watching a movie. But seeing as having pronouns isn’t true I’m not sure how reliable it is and would advise it to be checked if it’s anywhere else.

I went with a friend to see this, as I really liked the first ant man and the second one was alright. But this movie was awful. I hated it. Wasn’t funny like the first one, and dragged on and was boring. they just tried too hard to make it, it was very forced.

As soon as Cassie said “peaceful protestors” I stopped watching. Should I push through? Is the rest of the movie worth it?
