Rating Summary
X-Men 97 feels crammed with storylines from its predecessor, as if the creators are desperate to tie up loose ends. The season ends up feeling somewhat rushed and lacking direction, unable to fully commit to either episodic or serialized storytelling. That's not to say that it's altogether bad. In fact, the second half of episode 5 is pretty fantastic.
