Rating Summary
The Hit Man is a mostly good movie that could have been a great movie. But it takes far too long to set the stage, and does so fairly redundantly, and leaves too many secondary characters underdeveloped. As it is, 2/3 of the movie is ok, but you'll probably be scrolling through your phone during a lot of it, and the last third (except for the unearned epilogue) is where the movie should have gotten to thirty minutes earlier.
